Planning underway for Fowlerville High School Alumni Banquet on June 10
Plans for the 124th annual Fowlerville High School Alumni Banquet are underway. The event will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017, at the high school.
“With the retirement of long time contributor and alumni treasurer, Thelma Rossetter (class of 1943) this past June,  the organization has had to do some reorganizing,” said Alumni President Judy Recker. “Thelma was an endless source of historical information and contacts. Making contacts now is challenging for all of us since we were born a decade or more after Thelma!”
Classes planning to meet to celebrate their graduation anniversary should contact either Cindy (Ruttman) Krebs at 223-8747 or treasurer Ed Helzerman at 223-8783. Ticket prices will remain the same as in recent years: $15/advance and $20/door.

Fowlerville Alumni Association seeking donations to fund scholarship program
In 1974, officers of the Fowlerville Alumni Association establish the FHS Alumni Scholarship Program. Monies are raised yearly to enable the organization to present scholarships to members of the current Fowlerville High School graduating class.
During the 40-plus years of the scholarship, well over 125 young people have been recipients of this scholarship. The organization hopes to continue this tradition. Again this year, the Alumni Association will present four scholarships at the Senior Awards Night in May. Recipients are also recognized at the annual FHS Alumni Banquet which his year is being held on Saturday, June 10, at the high school cafeteria.
The scholarship fund is maintained through the many donations received in memory of loved ones who either were graduated from Fowlerville High or who maintained strong connections to the school such as a teacher, coach, bus driver, or supporter. Please feel free to make donations in any amount at any time during the year.
Some send donations yearly, while for others it is a one-time donation.
Donations should be sent to Coralene (Jackson) Bloss, 6346 Burkhart Dr., Howell MI 48855. Checks should be made out to the Fowlerville Alumni Association. To be recognized in the 2017 program, a donation should reach Coralene Bloss by May 10. Your generosity will not only help maintain the scholarship program but will help a graduating senior with college expenses.
