Easter Expo Day for Kids being held at St. John's Lutheran Church on April 8
In order to help kids experience the story of Easter, St. John's Lutheran Church in Fowlerville is inviting the community to join them on Saturday, April 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the Easter Expo Day. Preschoolers through teens will enjoy something like Vacation Bible School for a day, with great music, worship, Bible teaching, a mission project, a craft and more. A pizza lunch will also be served.
"Our volunteers are excited to help kids know more fully the love of God as shown through Jesus' life, death and resurrection. This year we are doing it in the style of VBS, with stations of fun, learning and friendship," says Pastor Diane Greble. The congregation is offering this day in response to God's love for the whole world; it is free but registration by phone or e-mail is encouraged because space is limited.”
St. John's is also in the planning stages of their annual summer Vacation Bible School It will be held July 9 through 13 and the theme is "Maker Fun Factory: Created by God for a Purpose!" At this VBS, kids will be inspired to see the greatness of God's creation and to engage in creating, building, and growing their own God-given gifts. VBS is free for children ages 4 through teens. Pre-register at 517-223-9108 or www.stjohnsfowlerville.org.
