Smith Elementary holding fundraiser for Leukemia/Lymphoma Society
For one week, March 3-9, Smith Elementary School in Fowlerville will participate in a collection for funds for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. The collection will take place online only.
On Friday, March 3, there will be three brief morning assemblies to kick off the event. The proposed times are 9:15am, 9:45am, and 10:15am. The way the prizes work is that the classroom that raises the most money will get the Hungry Howie’s pizza lunch, and when the school raises $1,300, the second place classroom will get a pizza lunch as well. But with the Flash 48 any classroom that raises $250 during that 48-hour online giving blitz will receive a pizza lunch as well.
So the potential of many classrooms getting a lunch is pretty high. The best part is that the kids with leukemia win! Email wedeskyp@fowlervilleschools.org for more information.
