Donald Converse Hart
Donald Converse Hart, age 94, of Fowlerville entered into rest on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital in Howell. He was born December 14, 1922 in Fowlerville, the son of Ilah Converse and Lewis Hart and was a 1940 graduate of Fowlerville High School. After graduation Don entered The United States Navy and served from 1943 to 1946 and was honorably discharged. He was employed with Detroit Edison Company and retired after 39 years of service. On August 7, 1950 he married the love his life, Joan Ann Eisner, and was a devoted husband and loving father. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Rhea Lou Muns and Pauline Ross, and 1 daughter: Lynne Marie James. Surviving are his wife, Joan; sons: Bill of Fowlerville, Mark of Gregory, Dan of Leslie, Lewis of Grand Ledge, and Ray of Jackson. Also surviving are his sisters: Betty Ann Kane, and Mary Jen Epley, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at 10:00 am at Herrmann Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Howard, officiating. Burial followed at Lakeside Cemetery with military honors. pjherrmannfuneralhome.com
