 Frank William Epley Jr.

September 17, 1944 - February 22, 2025

    Frank William Epley Jr. died peacefully on February 22, 2025 at age of 80, in Saginaw. Frank was born on September 17, 1944, in Fowlerville, Michigan to the late Frank William Epley Sr. and Frances Edwina Peach. Frank was raised in the Fowlerville area and graduated from high school in the class of 1963. Frank proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era as a helicopter crew chief from August 1967 to August 1969. He was a welder at Crest Pontoon for 26 years and at Midland Ross prior to that. He was an avid outdoorsman from spring steelhead fishing to the fall deer hunt with his beloved wife Linda. Frank spent countless hours tending his garden during the summer months; he truly loved to be outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends that enjoyed his stories.

    Frank is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda, his son Kurt (Loretta) Evans: granddaughters: Kortni (Austin) Garcia and Linzee (Clinton) Bialcak, also three great-grandchildren, and his sisters: Eva Bliss, and Gertrude Genei. Two nephews, seven nieces along with several great nephews and nieces.

    Frank was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Clayton.

    The funeral service was held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 1:00pm at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Owosso Chapel. The Epley family received friends at the funeral home from 11:00am until the service.
