Virginia Sue (Jenny) Lang
Virginia Sue (Jenny) was born to Otis and Letha Creech in Detroit, MI April, 1943. She entered Heaven’s gates on August 11, 2022 as her beloved husband held the door open for her. Jenny and her “Willie” (Bill) were married for 60 years this past June. They met in Fowlerville at his families’ dime store and fell in love.
After marrying, she became a spectacular mother to three boys: John (Dotty), Mark (Debbie), and Matthew (Molly). She was blessed to be called Nanny by five grandchildren: Jessica, Drake, Brittany, Kris and Emolly. Nanny was also blessed to be a great grandmother to four sweet little boys: Lincoln, Warner, Emmett and Wright whom she treasured dearly. Jenny has one sister Anita (Mike) Hacker. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill, her parents Otis and Letha Creech and her son John.
Jenny was an active member of the Fowlerville United Brethren Church and served faithfully at the Quilting Club. Over the years she made dozens of handmade quilts for new babies, shut-ins and many others. She had compassion and a kind word for everyone she met. She was a prayer warrior and if you ever had the fortune of knowing her you were prayed for. Jenny loved quilting, crafts, baking and most of all spending time with her family.
The family invites you to join us for a celebration of Jenny and Bill’s life on August 25, 2022 at the Fowlerville UB Church, 9300 W. Grand River, Fowlerville, MI at 11am. Visitation starting at 10am. There will be a luncheon following for family and friends.
