The League of Women Voters of Ann Arbor, Brighton/Howell unit is pleased to announce its next public forum— What is PFAS and What are the Health Implications? The gathering is scheduled for Wednesday, January 23, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Howell Carnegie Library's Meabon Room.
The guest speaker is Steven C. Brown, PhD trained and 45-year experienced analytical and bio-analytical chemist with a strong background in physical chemistry, and metabolism of xenobiotics (like PFAS and other synthetic compounds). This is an educational forum to provide Livingston County residents more information on this important topic, and to provide an opportunity to ask questions.
