A combination chili cook-off and euchre tournament is planned at St. Agnes Catholic Church this Saturday, Jan. 19.
The fundraiser is being called “Warm-up the Winter” Benefit and earnings will go to assist area residents with winter utility bills through Love Inc. and St. Agnes Christian Services.
The Chili Cook-off begins at 5 p.m. with those attending getting to sample the different entries and vote on their favorite. The meal includes a complimentary hot dog, salad and desserts, along with the chili. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. There’ll also be a 50/50 raffle.
Registration for the euchre tournament is at 6:30 p.m., with play starting at 7 p.m. Cost is $10 per person and cash prizes will be awarded.
The event is sponsored by the St. Agnes Knights of Columbus 8605.
