Webberville High School Class of 2018 to graduate this Thursday, May 24
   The Webberville High School Class of 2018 will graduate this Thursday, May 24. The Commencement Exercises will take place at the Spartan Center, starting at 7 p.m. Thirty-three seniors are expected to receive their diplomas.
   The evening program begins with the Fanfare and Processional, with the high school band—led by Gary Franks--playing Pomp and Circumstance. 
   A Welcome Address will be given by the high school principal Dr. Rebecca Batteen. The High School Choir Selection, led by Alex Ellul, will then perform The Star-Spangled Banner. Opening Presentation will then be offered by Kelsey Mayville, the class president. The band follows this with Concert Suite From ‘Dance with Wolves’, the final selection to be played by senior members.
     Benjamin Theriault will give the Salutatorian’s address, followed by the guest speaker, Robert Hoffman—a 1988 Webberville High alumnus, founder of Pay It Forward, and the voice of Wharton Center at Michigan State University.   Cassondra Jones will then offer the Valedictorian’s Address, followed by the Recognition of Seniors by Andrew Smith, the Secondary Principal. Next up is the high school choir who will sing A Blessing.
   The program then concludes with the Presentation of Diplomas by Amy Coe, the school board president; Brian Friddle, the superintendent; and Dr. Rebecca Batteen
