Local fitness studio to celebrate milestone anniversary on Oct. 5th
The Fowlerville Jazzercise Studio is marking its 5th year at 309 E. Grand River with a special celebration open to the public. On Saturday, Oct. 5th, the studio will offer a free class at 9:00 AM, complete with refreshments following.
This local fitness hub, which is part of the larger Jazzercise Inc. franchise, has been serving the Fowlerville community since 2006. Before moving to its present location, the studio opearated at the fomer post office building on South Second Street. The anniversary also coincides with Jazzercise Inc.'s impressive 55-year milestone in the fitness industry.
Jazzercise, known as the original dance party workout, combines dance cardio and strength training in high-energy 55-minute sessions. The woman-owned company prides itself on inclusivity, welcoming participants of all ages, sizes, and fitness levels.
"Our goal is to help people live healthier, happier lives through fitness," said Tonya LaMothe, owner of the Fowlerville studio. "We believe working out should make you feel great, not just look great."
With classes burning up to 800 calories, LaMothe said that Jazzercise offers “a fun and effective way to stay fit,” adding that “the anniversary celebration provides an excellent opportunity for community members to experience this energizing workout firsthand.”
