Fowlerville Senior Center has several activities planned for coming weeks
The Fowlerville Senior Center will be closed on Labor Day, September 2. We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend.
The Fowlerville Senior Center has several new activity offerings for our members and the public.
We hold an Art Class on the first Thursday of every month, from 6P -9P. Our next class is September 5, the cost is $10.00, everything is provided, and this class is open to the public.
Cribbage is a new activity we are offering, on Mondays starting at 9:00am, and this activity is open to the public. Join us for a game or two of 15-2.
A new activity for our younger friends, a Witches and Wizards Class will be offered every Saturday, from 10:00 to 11:00am. Our first class will be held September 7. This activity deals with simple science experiments and is geared towards children interacting with their parents or other adult mentors, while conducting hands on experiments. The cost is $5.00, and everything is provided.
Our Cardio Drumming Class has moved to Tuesdays, 11:00 to 12:00pm. This is a non-cost class and is open to the public.
The bad news is we had to cancel our August, Michigan Princess, Dixieland Jazz, paddle boat, lunch cruise because something broke on the boat.
The good news is we were able to reschedule for a fall color cruise on the Grand River for October 25. This is also a Dixieland Jazz Lunch Cruise. For details see our post on our Facebook Page, at Fowlerville Senior Center or stop into the Fowlerville Senior Center.
