Hartland Audubon Nature Club to hold program on ‘Bats’     Sept. 3rd

The Hartland Audubon Nature Club will launch the 2024-25 season with a program on “Bats”. The guest speaker, Laurel Zoet of Wild Birds Unlimited, in Green Oak Township, states that 25% of all mammal species on the planet are a type of bat yet these animals are regularly the most misunderstood and feared. This entertaining program will dispel myths and look at how these unique animals benefit humans from regenerating the rainforests as well as providing free, organic pest and insect control. Gather tips for attracting these beneficial mammals to your yard

Members and guests of all ages are invited to learn and appreciate how bats fit into the web of life. Join us Tuesday, Sept/ 3, 7 pm. Use the west entrance of the Hartland Educational Support Service Center, 9525 E. Highland Road, Howell, and look for the Hartland Audubon Nature Club sign in the hall.
