Bill Rife
Bill Rife, age 75 of Fowlerville, Michigan passed away July 20th, 2024, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan surrounded by family members. Born on March 4th, 1949, Bill was the son of Herman Wilber Rife and Jennie Diane Krizanic.
Bill was a lifelong resident of Fowlerville, Michigan aside from a short period in the 1980’s where he lived in the northern town of Arcadia, Michigan. Bill was a long-time member of the Michigan Carpenters Union working his entire life in the construction trades. He was an avid motorcyclist. Beginning with motocross in the 1970’s then transitioning to street bikes later in life with the GWTA and performing with the Great Lakes Wings Drill Team. When mobility issues kept his adventures closer to home, he enjoyed keeping a virtual eye on the Shack and sunsets over Arcadia Marsh.
Surviving is his wife of 19 years Beverly Rife, sister Donna Judd, two children: Shelly Rife and Matthew Rife, three stepdaughters: Michelle Feeney, Amy Shaffer and Carrie Williamson, six grandchildren: Zac Gilbert, Hannah Gilbert, Cooper Rife, Jordan Feeney, Taylor Feeney and Ben Vanatta.
A visitation was held on Thursday, July 25th from 11am to 1pm at Herrmann Funeral Home1005 E. Grand River Rd Fowlerville, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family.
