Wayne E. Mack
Wayne E. Mack of Fowlerville, 85, passed away Feb. 1st, 2024. Wayne worked at Utilex until they closed their doors and he realized that carpentry was what he wanted to do. He worked with his brother-in-law Richard Tobin and had some
employees. His wife Ellen helped him with the books. His trim work on newer homes was what he was most fond of doing. He was very good with making wood furniture and he made Ellen beautiful cabinets for her collectibles. As he got older he discovered old cars and loved working on his 29 Plymouth, that his two sons bought for him. He could make almost anything out of junk! He used parts and pieces to create his dream car!
Wayne and Ellen went to car shows with many friends and loved to go antiquing. He created quite a collection of model cars, die-cast cars, whiskey bottle cars and he also liked to collect cassette tapes and records. He made neat shelves from wood for his collections.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 64 years (Jan 2024) Ellen Irene (Tobin) Mack, grandson Tyler Mack, his mother Sharon Goucher and grandson Brandon Mack with Jamie Rice and their son (Wayne’s great grandson) Onyx Mack and his mother Tina Dodson. Wayne also has brothers
and sisters, Ed Mack, Barry Mack, Cheryl Slon, Jim Mack and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister Margie Mack and his two beloved sons David Wayne
Mack and Micheal James Mack. Also brother-in-law Richard Tobin and sister and brother-in-law DeEtte and William Wollet.
Cremation has taken place and no memorial will be held.
