Livingston County Genealogical Society holding zoom meeting on March 7th
The Livingston County Genealogical Society will meet via zoom on Thursday, March 7th.
Guest speaker will be Derek Blount on the topic “Finding the Men of the Fur Trade.” After a brief history of the fur trade in North America, we will look at several major companies involved and where to find their records. The companies we will explore are the Hudson Bay Company, the Northwest Company, the American Fur Company, and Revillon Frères Trading Company.
