Livingston County Genealogical Society to hold zoom meeting on August 3rd
The Livingston County Genealogical Society will meet via zoom on August 3rd. “African American Research” is the program topic.
Following a short business meeting, Jessica Trotter will present the program. Jessica, a local, regional, and national speaker, is the Collection Development Specialist for the Capitol Area District Library in the Lansing area. In 2020 the Michigan Academic Library Association awarded her the “Librarian of the Year” award. Her program will talk about the difficulties and strategies in doing African American research and how to break through the barriers facing researchers.
