Joyce B. Schlosser
Joyce B. Schlosser was born in Flint MI to Lloyd and Florence Verrell. Joyce passed away on June 23, 2023, at the Willows in Howell MI at the age of 96. Her two brothers, Mark and Roger, preceded her in death. She graduated from Davison High School and attended beauty school to become a beautician. She married Arthur Schlosser in 1946 and he went to barbering school after serving in the Navy. They moved to Fowlerville and started a business--Art and Joyce's Barber and Beauty Shop--that lasted for almost 40 years, In the early eighties they decided to semi-retire and move to Holiday Fl and later New Port Richey FL. Art died in 2017 after 70 years of marriage.
Joyce is survived by daughter Susan (Morrie) Coles of Mason MI, granddaughters Karyn and Andrea, son Kevin (Nancy Olsen) of Monroe MI, grandsons Kurt and Kyle and 1 great grandson, Charlie.
Art and Joyce loved to dance and gather at parties with many of the family and friends they had in Michigan and Florida. We know they are having a good time together now and dancing again.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Willows of Howell and Elera Hospice for the care of Joyce.
A private family gathering is planned at a later date.
