STAFF BOOK REVIEW

“See You Yesterday” by Rachel Lynn Solomon Review by Annessa Dimkoff

Star Rating:  Four Stars

When Barrett Bloom starts college on September 21st, she’s hoping it will be a fresh start after her experience with high school. But, after the worst first day ever, she wakes up the next morning to find herself right back at the beginning of September 21st. And, after a confrontation with Miles, a know-it-all guy in her Physics 101 class, she learns she’s not alone– and Miles has been trapped in September 21st for two months before Barrett got stuck.

Reading this book felt like sitting down to watch a cozy romantic comedy. You fall in love with the characters, and what they’re feeling, and hope that they make it out of their time loop. Barrett is an aspiring journalist, who isn’t afraid to speak the truth. Miles is a physics nerd and one of the most lovably geeky characters you’ll read. This young adult novel was a fun read, and I’m so excited to read more from Rachel Lynn Solomon.
