Linda M. Ranville
Linda M. Ranville, age 58, passed away on June 17, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by family. Linda was the first-born child of Roger and Rosemary Sousley, born on March 19, 1964. She was raised in Kentwood Michigan with her three younger siblings. She is survived by her husband Paul, her three children Nick (Meghan), Sarah (Zach), David; and granddaughter Savannah. Linda is also survived by her siblings Sally Derhammer, Lisa Giacomelli (Doug) and Tim Sousley.
Linda had a passion for helping others. She was a dedicated teacher to many kindergarteners at Smith Elementary as a paraprofessional and to many special needs adults as a certified occupational assistant. She treasured quality time with her children and loved gardening and bird watching with her granddaughter, Savannah. Linda was a long-time member of St. Agnes Catholic Church where she taught catechism, rang bells, and led a casserole ministry. She enjoyed dancing at Maria’s School of Dance and especially enjoyed tap. She will be remembered for her impeccable cooking skills, love for children, compassionate friendship, and her quick wit.
Visitation was held from 3-7 p.m. Monday, June 20th at Herrmann Funeral Home. Mass took place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 21st at St. Agnes Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior to service where her family and friends celebrated her earthly life and commend her into the Lord’s hands for eternity.
In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Linda, memorial contributions should be made to the American Cancer Society.
