Virginia Londy
Virginia Londy, a Fowlerville Michigan resident, was born February 24,1925 in Detroit and passed away June 19, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband George in 2020. She is survived by her three children, and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was a school secretary for many years in Detroit Public Schools before she and George moved to Fowlerville in 1988. She loved to read, garden, do word puzzles, knit, and cheer on George playing baseball. She enjoyed participating in Philomathean Club and its activities. She spent many years knitting baby caps and baby blankets to donate as part of service to her church. Her family and friends could always count on enjoying her pecan tarts and apple pie with her favorite Northern Spy apples.
A family grave side service was held on Thursday June 23, at the Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Elara Caring Hospice Foundation, Jackson, MI.
