George Raymond Crofoot
George Raymond Crofoot, age 90, of Fowlerville joined is heavenly family on Feb. 18, 2021. He was born May 10, 1930.
George spend most of his life working on the family farm. He was employed a few years at a factory in Howell. When it closed, he went back to working on the farm for the Van Gilder family. George loved going to church and making friends. He enjoyed talking on the phone and attending church dinners where he could meet new people to talk to. He also grew some awesome vegetables in his garden every year.
George was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur ‘Bud’ and Iva Irene Crofoot; his brothers: Bill, Bob, Wallace, Paul, Marvin, John and Richard; and his children: Mickey, Judylyn, Raymond, Leonard, Edward, Allen Dale, and Penny.
His surviving family includes daughers: Pam Bower-Crofoot of Northern Michigan and Jackie Crofoot of Fowlerville; his sister: Edna of Florida; and many nieces and newphews.
Funeral services were held at the Place of Refuge on Feb. 23. Burial took place at Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville.
Arrangments were handled by Herrmann Funeral Home of Fowlerville.
