Jean M. Brown
Jean M. Brown, age 74, passed away, Saturday, March 13, 2021, at her home with her family by her side. She was born December 29, 1946 in Howell, the daughter of Gaylord D. Coleman and Marie J. (Robinson) Weir. Loving mother of Paula (Aaron) Godfrey of Fowlerville and Traci Brown of Flint. Grandmother of Cullen, Gage, Miles, Sister of Richard (Bonnie) Coleman, Douglas (Carolyn) Coleman, Rose (Ron) Whiting and Edward (Sandra) Coleman.
Also survived by her fiancé, Daniel Glover, his children, Amber Glover and Keith (Cathy) Glover and grandchildren Skyler and Cassandra and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ivan Brown (1987) and brother Don (Betty) Coleman (2020).
Jean retired from Citizens Insurance Company after 42 years. She thoroughly enjoyed baking, volunteering at her grandchildren's school and the church kitchen for events. She was an avid reader, liked old television shows, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She will especially be missed at the luncheon gatherings with her classmates and retirement group from Citizens Insurance Company.
A funeral service for Jean was held Friday, March 19, 2021 at 11:00am at the Argentine Church of the Nazarene. Visitation took place on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 2:00 to 7:00pm, and Friday, March 18, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00am also at the church.
