Upcoming Programs at the Fowlerville District Library
   All programs are intended for Fowlerville School District residents. Register in-person to attend; starting the first of each month, unless otherwise stated. WEEKLY DROP-IN PROGRAMS
Reading to Bosco: Most Mondays at 4pm
All Ages. Bosco is a Therapy Dog-in-Training. Reading to Bosco improves literacy skills, builds fluency, and reading confidence regardless of ability. Bosco’s “Mom” Shelly has been a part of our library community for over 15 years volunteering her time and her other reading therapy dogs.

Cardio Drumming: Tuesdays at 7pm
Adults. Get your sweat on with a fun workout from instructor Kim Griffes. Please remember to bring water and wear comfy clothes. Spaces are limited to 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. *There is a cash fee of $6 for this class if you bring your own equipment. Kit rental is additional $2 fee.

D&D and Magic the Gathering Club: Thursdays 2:30-4pm
6th-12th Graders. Drop in at the Library for a fun afterschool group where you can learn more about Dungeon & Dragons role-playing game and play Magic the Gathering card game on your own. We provide the Dungeon Master (Ms. Zoe), snacks and drinks… you provide the fun!  * No School, No library program.

Cozy Crafting Around the Fireplace: Tuesdays 6pm-7pm
Adult Drop-in. Join us at the library for an opportunity to work on current craft projects and to socialize with other crafters.  Bring your knitting, needlepoint, or other current craft project to work on in the library around the cozy fireplace.

Honest Yoga at the Library: Fridays at 9:30am
Adults. Join Erin Wade RYT, owner of Honest Yoga, for Gentle Yoga at the Library. Gentle Yoga is for adults of all ages through modifications and the use of props. Please bring a mat to practice on. *There is a cash fee of $5 fee for this class.

Leap Year at the Library: Wednesday, February 19th 5:30-6:30pm
K-5th Graders. What is Leap Year? Learn about this extra special day by listening to a story, making a time capsule and more!

Makeup and Skincare with Liz: Thursday, February 20th 7-9pm
Adults and Teens. Liz Goble, Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant, will lead a skin care tutorial and everyone will get to try a face mask! Bring your make-up and questions… Liz has the answers! Please come make-up free and bring a washcloth for your use.

Beyond the Book Series--What the Eyes Don’t See by Mona Hanna-Attisha: Thursday, February 27th 6:30pm
Adults. Rescheduled from Feb 6th. This month we are reading Great Michigan Reads selection What the Eyes Don’t See. In conjunction with the Great Michigan Reads selection we will be viewing the documentary Poison Water and a guided discussion will follow the film.

4th Annual Preschool Round-Up: Monday, March 2nd 4:30-6:30pm
Come meet Fowlerville area preschools and find out what everyone has available to fit your family’s needs. LESA will be there to talk about free preschool program and, if ready, you can even register your child for preschool that night.

Beyond the Book Series—All Girl Filling Station’s Last Reunion by Fannie Flagg: Thursday, March 5th6:30pm
Adults. Get your copy of the Livingston Reads selection; All Girl Filling Station’s Last Reunion by Fannie Flagg and then come watch the documentary Fly Girls both about 1940's women flying planes during WW2. A discussion about both will follow. $10 refundable deposit is required upon registration.
