Fowlerville 4th of July Committee seeking Chili & Soup Contestants
The Fowlerville 4th of July Committee announced that entries can now be accepted for the 16th Annual Chili Cook-off. This highly successful fundraiser always attracts hundreds of hungry patrons who, year after year, are treated to some of the best chili ever. Proceeds from this event will go towards funding the Livingston County fireworks in Fowlerville, as well as other activities enjoyed on July 4th in downtown Fowlerville.
The Cook-off will be held on Saturday, March 14 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Fowlerville VFW Hall. This year’s event promises to be even more spectacular, with over a dozen fabulous chili’s and for the first time ever we will have homemade soup entries as well. All of this will be accompanied by a full salad bar and several luscious desserts.
The entry form can be found on our Facebook page, Livingston County Fireworks or by contacting Michelle Soli at MichelleSoli@yahoo.com or Brandon Denby at BDenby@livgov.com. The committee will receive completed forms until March 7. Potential contestants are urged to send in entries as soon as possible, as there is a limited number of entries allowed, and space always fills up quickly.
If you have any additional questions you can contact the Fowlerville 4th of July Committee on Facebook (Livingston County Fireworks) or our Chairman, Brandon Denby 517.540.8823 BDenby@Livgov.com
