Debra Jean Leathem
April 3, 1976 - October 4, 2019
Debra Jean Leathem, age 43 of Acworth, Georgia (formerly of Webberville, Michigan) peacefully passed away on October, 4, 2019, at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born in Lansing, Michigan on April 3, 1976, the daughter of Richard and Erma (Wood) Leathem. She spent most of her adult life as store manager of Bird Watcher Supply Co. in Marietta, Georgia. She is survived by her parents Richard and Erma Leathem of Webberville, her sister, Patricia Leathem of Webberville, brother Steven and wife Karyl Leathem of Lansing and brother Jim Leathem of Webberville. She is also survived by her grandmother, Hazel (Johnson) Wood of Webberville as well as her aunts, Doris and husband David Reed of Missouri; Nancy and husband Richard Kubiak, Bonnie Wood, Janet Wood, uncles Robert Wood and Tom Budden all of Webberville, aunts Nancy and husband Terry Hueffed and Gracie Taylor of California, and several cousins. Preceding her in death is her aunt, Mary Budden of Webberville, grandfather, Robert (known as Junior) Wood of Webberville, grandmother, Jean Kroeckel of California, uncle Brian Taylor of California and grandfather, Paul Leathem of Ohio.
A “Celebration of Debbie’s Life” will be held on November 9, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Webberville United Methodist Church, 4215 E. Holt Rd., Webberville, MI (corner of South M-52 and Holt Rds.).
