Marian Ellen Dryer
Marian Ellen Dryer of Fowlerville went home to be with our Lord on July 28, 2019 at the age of 87. She was born September 4, 1931 to Phillip & Louise Challiss. She married Raymond Dryer Jr on December 17, 1949. She leaves behind two sons, Ronald (Denise) Dryer and Donald (Patricia) Dryer; grandchildren, Loralee (Whitney) Mooney, Dana (Khaled) Elsokary, Janet Dryer, Auguest (Joe) Stone, Donald Jr (Samantha) Dryer; other grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two brothers, Stanley (Suzanne) Challiss and Phillip (Rosalee) Challiss. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; sister, Marie Sawyer; and parents.
She loved cooking, gardening, canning, bird watching and her flowers. The most precious treasures were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The special times shared together, whether enjoying birthdays, trips, going to the fair, or creating everlasting memories were priceless. She had many life-long friends.
A celebration of her life included visitation at Herrmann Funeral Home in Fowlerville on Wednesday, July 31, from 5 to 8pm and Thursday, August 1, from 10 to 11am with services immediately following. The family would like to give a special thank you to Julia Badgero.
