Hidden Springs Annual Classic Car Show to be held August 24 at church
The 6th Annual Classic Car Show will be held at Hidden Springs Church, 5860 N. Latson Rd. in Howell on Saturday, August 24, from 11am-3pm. The registration opens at 10am. Vehicle entry fee is $10. 12 trophies to be given out, plus a bounce house, face painting, tons of free door prizes, 50/50 drawing, Live DJ and more! Food by Whenever Weenies. Livingston County Parkinson's Support Group to hold meeting on August 27
The Livingston County Parkinson's Support Group will meet Tuesday, August 27, at 4pm in Community Room 2 of St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital, 620 Byron Road, Howell. Park in the rear west parking lot and enter through the west entrance canopy. The speaker is Denise Vanattan from MSU Neurology. She will give an overview of PD and the various medical interventions. Livingston Land Conservancy fundraiser set for Sept. 6 in Howell
The Livingston Land Conservancy will hold its 16th annual Land on the Horizon fundraising event on Friday, Sept. 6, at the historic Howell Opera House from 7-10pm. Tickets are $65 person and include a buffet dinner, live and silent auctions, raffles, live entertainment and special guest David Mindell of PlantWise LLC. A cash bar is also available.
All net proceeds go to benefit the LLC's Land Acquisition and Stewardship Funds. The LLC is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to protecting over 650 acres (and growing) of natural land and productive farmland in and around Livingston County through nature preserve or conservation easement designations.
