Jay C. Bohnett
Jay C. Bohnett was born November 1, 1954 to the late George and Sandra (Tuttle) Bohnett in Webberville, MI and passed away on September 28, 2018 in Lansing, MI at age 63. Jay was a lifetime resident of Webberville graduating in 1972. He was part of the Operating Engineers Local #324 (local organization) since 1976, and was employed by Eisenhower Construction and Midwest Bridge, where he took pride building many of the highways we drive on today.
Jay really enjoyed spending time with his Chesapeake Bay retrievers: Bella and Beau. He loved to be outdoors fishing, hunting, and gardening. His greatest pleasures undoubtedly were spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Jay is preceded in death by his parents: George and Sandra Bohnett. He will be treasured in memory by his loving wife Laura Bohnett, son Eric (Megan) Bohnett, daughters Nicole and Jayme Bohnett, grandchildren Connor, Jay, Braxton and Avery, and sisters Michelle Giddings, Terry Chase (Jeff), and Lori Young (Butch).
