Opiate Awareness presentation being held Sept. 14 at United Brethren Church
Opiate Awareness is the theme of a presentation taking place on Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fowlerville United Brethren Church, located at 9300 W. Grand River Avenue.
The public--including parents, grandparents, teachers, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles--is urged to attend this information seminar to learn more about the growing problem of opiate abuse in the community. Guest speakers will include people who have survived opiate addiction. State Rep. Hank Vaupel will also speak at the presentation.
Refreshments will be available as well. Opiate Awareness is being presented by the Fowlerville Police Department in cooperation with the United Brethren Church.
