William Floyd Chamberlain

    William Floyd Chamberlain was born June 26, 1944, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Ralph and Luella Chamberlain. He went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2025.

    William is survived by his wife, Sue; son, Chris (Melissa) Chamberlain; daughter, Lori (Chad) Schrauben; grandchildren: Julia, Nicholas (Teagan), Breanna, Kaitlyn, Rachel, Nolan, and Graham; great-grandson, Cooper; and great-granddaughter, Tate. He is also survived by one brother, Bruce Chamberlain; two sisters, Raella (Kevin) Starken and Suzie (Marty) Cantwell; two sisters-in-law, Teri Chamberlain and Linda Chamberlain; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward and Ralph; and great-niece, Heather Toth.

    Family genealogy details that Bill was a seventh-generation farmer. He served on the boards of Ingham County Farm Bureau and Farm Service Agency. He enjoyed going to car shows with his 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler. He participated in the annual Mackinac Bridge Tractor Crossing with the IH 806 tractor.

    A funeral service honoring William's life was held Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Family Life Wesleyan Center, 3720 Rowley Rd, Williamston, MI. The family received visitors one hour prior to the service as well as on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at the church. William was laid to rest at Rowley Cemetery following the service, with a meal and time of fellowship following back at the church.
