Dean Thomas Petri
Dean Thomas Petri of Fowlerville MI passed away in Howell MI on Oct. 19, 2025. He was born on Nov. 27, 1943 to Anna & Frank Petri. Dean graduated from MacKenzie High Scool in Detroit and went on to graduate from Lawrence Tech after three years of service in the U.S. Army.
He retired from Detroit Diesel Corp. in 2000 after 35 years of employment. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fowlerville and a Past Master of Fowlerville Masonic Lodge #164 F&AM.
Dean enjoyed attending all the sports events that his sons and grandchildren were were in, especially Fowlerville football. He also enjoyed traveling around the USA with his wife Veronica.
Dean is survived by his wife of 61 years, sons Darin, Derek, and Dana (Carrie), 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister Debra Keith (Jim), and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fowlerville on Saturday, Nov. 1st at 11am, with a luncheon to follow.
