2025 SUMMERPraise! in Owosso to open this Sunday, July 13th
The popular SUMMERPraise! series will open its 2025 season this Sunday, July 13th when ‘The Browders’ from Kingsport, Tennessee, return to Owosso. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Owosso First Church of the Nazarene sanctuary, 1865 S. M-52. The six-week concert series, sponsored by the Owosso-Area Ministerial Association, will feature two national groups: The Browders and ‘The 3 Heath Brothers’ and four regional groups from Michigan: ‘New Destiny’, ‘The Sheldons’, ‘The Thurstons’, and ‘Stronghold Quartet’.
SUMMERPraise! has been a wonderful summer event for gospel music fans from all over mid-Michigan who are drawn to the quality and variety of the performers. Event coordinator, Lynn Webster, stated that “Our SUMMERPraise! concerts have provided an incredible opportunity to enjoy first-rate, quality gospel music.”

* July 27 The Sheldons (Owosso, MI)
* Aug. 3 The 3 Heath Brothers (Thomasville, NC)
* Aug. 10 The Thurstons (Holt, MI)
* Aug.17 Stronghold Quartet (Howell, MI)
The concert series is organized by Lynn and Diana Webster, and James Patchen.
“We started it because it was a way to bring good Christian music into the community, and bring the Christian community together as one big family,“ said Diana.
