Fowlerville country music artist Blake James to perform on Friday at fair
Blake James, a rising country music artist who is homegrown, will be performing twice on Friday, July 25, at the Fowlerville Family Fair.
The first show will be in front of the Grandstand from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the rodeo that evening. He will them move to the Bingo Gazebo and do a second show from 7 to 9 p.m.
Blake’s repoitare include a range of tranditon country songs, done with his own unique sould. A recent graduate from Fowlerville High School where he played in the band, his musical journey began at the age of seven, inspired by the classic sounds of legends like Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis.
He noted that though his style today is rooted in traditional country, those early influences laid the foundation for his love of music and the timeless qualities he seeks to bring to his performances.
