Livingston County Genealogical Society meeting on Jan. 9th at Howell church
The Livingston County Genealogical Society will hold an in-person meeting on Thursday, Jan. 9th at 7pm at the First United Methodist Church in Howell, 1230 Bower Street. We will also offer a zoom link to this meeting; the link may be found on our Facebook page the week of the meeting. All are welcome.
The guest speaker will be Laura Hedgecock with the topic being “Beyond Dry Facts: Telling Your Ancestor & Stories.” Have you researched your ancestors but don’t know how to transition from researcher to writer? Learn how to convert researched facts into compelling ancestor stories that can engage imaginations and connect hearts. Laura Hedgecock is passionate about telling stories and connecting with others. She comes by that passion honestly; her grandmother, Hazel Crymes, wrote throughout her life. However, her grandmother wrote in secret, while Laura believes in sharing.
