Williamston Museum to host Veterans Banquet on Nov. 11th
The Williamston Museum at the Depot presents its 3rd Annual Veterans Banquet Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 11th at Brookshire Inn. This is a fundraiser for the many free services the museum offers the communities. The evening will open at 5:30pm, cash bar, dinner at 6pm and program at 7pm.
The program this year is the tragic story of Williamston's Walter Estes, a Navy pilot shot down over North Vietnam in 1967. Veterans will be honored, as well as those wishing to acknowledge fathers, grandfathers, sons and daughters, etc for a time of reverence and gratitude.
