Barbara Ann Gascon
Barbara Ann Gascon, born May 26, 1947, passed away on December 10, 2023. Barb is survived by her daughters Kristine (Terry) Clark and Lisa Lane, grandchildren Ashley (Dustin) Hagler, Nicole (Johnny) Wilson, Kayli (Ryan) Jennings, Jordan Lane, Derek (Payton) Lindig, and Alexis (Jacob Merrifield) Lindig, 9 great grandchildren, her sisters Yvonne (Eddie) Buchanan and Nancy (Frank) Smith and her best friend, Lynn Gougeon. She is predeceased by her husband Richard Gascon and her parents George and Annie Belanger.
Barb worked for many years in bookkeeping at Sears Roebuck and Company. In her early years she enjoyed gardening, traveling with her husband, spending time at her cottage, and being a groupie for her husband’s band. For the past 4½ years she was a resident at The Willows of Howell, where she had so many friends and considered it home. She loved doing the activities there, especially Bingo.
Barb will be remembered for her big heart and the smile that was always on her face.
Funeral services for Barb were being held Friday, December 15, at 11:00 AM at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, MacDonald’s Chapel of Howell. Burial was to follow at Webberville Cemetery. Visitation was held on Thursday, Dec. 14, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
