Rodney Lee Sober
On January 24, 2020, Rodney Lee Sober, age 75 passed away peacefully after a battle of cancer. A longtime resident of Fowlerville, MI, he was born on October 26, 1945 to Hubert and Audrey (Shoup) Sober.
Rodney proudly owned the Hair Barn in Fowlerville for many years. He had a passion for gardening, and he took much pride in his yards and gardens and giving a helping hand to whoever needed it. He enjoyed volunteering at the Fowlerville Fairgrounds. You could find him fishing anytime he had a chance or hunting. He had a contagious laugh and loved making his grandchildren giggle anytime possible.
Rodney was preceded in death by his brother Richard Sober, sister Patricia Devlin, niece Nancee Sanville and his parents Hubert and Audrey Sober. He is survived by his sister Jacqueline (Jack) Calkins, daughters Rachelle (Matt) Henney of Sunfield, MI and Roni (Jeremy) Henney of Lake Odessa, MI; grandchildren Cameron Winter, Aubri, Addison, Taylor, Lucas & Reid Henney, as well as many nieces, nephews and a dear close friend Les Crampton.
There will be a mass in the repose of Rodney on January 23, 2022 at the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fowlerville, MI. at 11 a.m.
