Gary Edgar Clay
Gary Edgar Clay, age 82 of Fowlerville, passed away December 10, 2021. He was born June 24, 1939 in Montpelier, Ohio, son of the late Jesse and Harriet Thompson.
Gary was a proud veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He loved music and was a talented musician.
He is survived by his sister: Victoria Stubblefield; his nephews: Eric Bennett, Matthew (Katie) Stubblefield, and Jesse Stubblefield.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Frank Stubblefield.
Clay, as many knew him, was the tall, older gent who walked around town with a walking stick and leather vest in every kind of weather. He had so many friends in the Fowlerville area. He stopped frequently at The Genesis House, Livingston Leather Shop, and KFC when it was still here.
A private graveside service, where Gary will be laid to rest beside his parents, is being held on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, 11a.m. at Detroit Memorial Park, 25062 Plymouth Rd., Redford MI 48239.
