Lawrence A. Elliott
Lawrence A. Elliott, age 73, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019. He was born in Howell, Michigan September 15, 1946.Larry graduated from Fowlerville High School in 1964 and Ferris State University Pharmacy School in 1971. He worked at Curtis Drugs, Lansing, MI until drafted into the United States Army and served at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Washington. He returned home to start his own pharmacy, The Village Drug Shop in Webberville, MI. He will be remembered for his knowledge of medicine and concern for his customers over the 40 plus years until his retirement. After retirement, Larry, throughout his battle with cancer, continued his “teaching moments” with doctors, caregivers, friends and family. He remained on that course until just a few days before his passing.
Larry is survived by his brother, Ron (Kim) Elliott of Middletown, California; sister, Beth (Jim) Lako of Fowlerville; nephew, Shad Lako and niece Jordan Elliott. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Betty (Strong) Elliott and nephew Luke Lako.
A celebration of Larry’s life was being held at the home of Jim and Beth Lako, Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with a luncheon following.
