Sharon Elizabeth Van Atta
   Sharon Elizabeth Van Atta of Fowlerville passed away on June 14, 2018 at the Willows of East Lansing. She was born on Dec. 29, 1945 in Lansing.
    Sharon was retired as a server in The State Room at Michigan State University. She owned Sharon’s Place, a restaurant at the corner of West Grand River and North Nicholson Road in Fowlerville from 1986-88.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Van Atta, and a sister, Kerry Bibbings. She is survived by her son, Matt (Darlene) Van Atta; brothers: Scott Betts and Jeff Betts; step-sons: Skeeter (Mary), Mike, Harry, and Rick; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    A celebration of her life will be held on July 21 at 1:00 at 5246 Nicholson Rd Fowlerville.
