His Legacy…Dale Mitz, age 67, passed away suddenly, after a short fight with cancer, on September 22, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Dale was born November 25, 1949 in Toledo, OH to Howard and Marion (Utley) Mitz. He married the love of his life, Kathleen McCaffery on October 5, 1974 at Our Lady of Victory Church in Northville. Dale is retired from Ford Motor Company, and was a farrier for many years. Dale enjoyed bowling and going to the casino, and watching the Detroit Tigers. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and papa. His Family…Dale is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; children, Shannon Kienitz, Eric (Andrea) Mitz, Jessica Mitz (Fiance`, William Legowsky); 6 grandchildren, Makenzie, Holdan, Kiya, Gavin, Macy and Elizabeth; siblings, Carl, Raye and Jean. He is preceded in death by his parents.
His Farewell…Dale’s family and friends gathered on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 10AM to 1PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Lamb Chapel.
