Webberville Quilters have new home & new name; meeting on Oct. 15th
The Webberville Quilters have found a new home in the Family Impact Center in Fowlerville, and will be now known as the Community Quilters and Crafters for simplicity's sake. The group is open to anyone seeking community connection through creativity.
The Quilters & Crafters continues to meet once a month, 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., usually on a Thursday. Crafters can arrive and leave as their schedule allows. Most attending do quilt, but any crafter is welcome to bring knitting or crocheting, embroidery, basket-weaving, hand-sewing, cross-stitch, or any other kind of portable project. The next scheduled gathering is Thursday, Oct. 15. All adults are welcome. The schedule is usually set four months at a time.
The quilt group began four years ago, meeting in the Webberville Spartan Center community room.
