Thom ‘Stretch’ Teeples
Thom (aka Stretch) Teeples passed away May 27, 2026 at Medilodge of Howell after a long battle with his health. Thom was born with the knowledge that he wouldn’t have an extremely long life, so he lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed rock music, going to concerts with his friends, barbequing and just hanging out. During his last few years he enjoyed bird and deer watching, going up north with his family and listening to more music. Thom was a gentle giant and friend to many, he will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth and Earl Teeples and his aunts Evelyn Thomas and Geroldine Harris. His good friend Vicky Hunt Bach passed a week after him. Thom is survived by his sister Sheila (Harry) Mudri; brother Darl (Marcia) Teeples; nephews, Alex Teeples, Mark (Kemery) Mudri and Derrick (Colleen Farrell) Mudri; nieces, Charleigh Teeples and Rebecca (Nate) Ussery; his great nephew Rhys Ussery; and great nieces Isla Ussery, Kennedy Saunders, Miley, and Parker Mudri.
A Celebration of Life will take place on July 25, at his house.
