Fowlerville Area Historical Socity to meet at library on Thursday May 7th

    The newly-formed Fowlerville Area Historical Society will meet Thursday, May 7th at the Fowlerville District Library, 6:00 pm - 7:30pm. The FAHS invites all area residents to attend the monthly meetings while the purpose and direction is made clearer. Those interested can learn about upcoming activities, membership opportunities for individuals of all ages, families and local businesses, and to bring the different perspectives within the community of Fowlerville.

    Continue to watch the Historical Corner in your ‘Fowlerville News & Views’ for details and upcoming events, such as the annual Clean Up Day at the Historic Village on May 13th.

    Maybe you are wondering how you can contribute to the preservation of Fowlerville's history; one way would be to document your heritage here. Fowlerville Library offers a one hour Writer's Group once a month. It is open to anyone of any level of experience writing. The next session is May 15th at 11:00 am. To help your frame of mind, it is offered inside the Historical Room in the Library.

    The June meeting will be Thursday, June 4th same time at the Library.
