Clayton Frank Epley
Clayton Frank Epley died peacefully on January 27, 2025, in Howell, Michigan. Clayton was born on February 17, 1934, to Frank and Frances (Peach) Epley in Hartland, Michigan. Clayton was raised in the Fowlerville area where he continued to live and work for his whole life.
Many will remember Clayton for his years as part of Fowlerville Schools Maintenance and Janitorial Staff. He may also be remembered for his love of small engine repair and antique farm machinery. Clayton also enjoyed volunteering for the Livingston Centre Historical Society and could be found in the Pere Marquette Depot at the Fowlerville Fairgrounds. Throughout his life, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, along with repairing and collecting small engines and other antique farm machinery. Everyone who met Clayton was always greeted with a sincere smile and a friendly hello. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Clayton is survived by his sisters Eva Bliss, and Gertrude Genei; and his brother Frank (Linda) Epley Jr. He is also survived by three mephews and seven nieces along with several great nephews and nieces.
A visitation was held at Hermann Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 31, from 10am-12pm. With a Funeral following immediately thereafter. Contributions instead of flowers may be made to the Livingston Centre Historical Society.
Burial was at Coffey Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Herrmann Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at pjherrmannfuneralhome.com
