Walter Frederick Krause was born March 15, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan. He died on May 17, 2023, in Webberville, Michigan.
Walter was the oldest of four siblings and graduated from Redford High School. He had many professions in his lifetime–sales, truck driver, carpenter, and building contractor. Carpentry was his favorite, and he made many beautiful woodworking pieces during his life. He also enjoyed telling and hearing a good joke, gardening, and visiting with people. He had a great smile.
He is survived by his partner of 16 years, Karen Cochran; one son, Kevin Krause; a sister, Danna; a granddaughter, Lillyan Davis; and several nieces, nephew, and friends.
A celebration of life service is planned for 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Northfork Farms & Outback, LLC, 3637Morrice Road, Webberville, Michigan.
The family is being served by Hermann Funeral Home in Fowlerville Michigan.
