Children's book author Denise Brennan-Nelson

to appear at St. John’s Lutheran on Wednesday, Oct. 20

Get ready for the full moon that is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, October 20, and celebrate it by coming to hear author Denise Brennan-Nelson read her book, Millie and the Moon. The children's book tells the story of Millie, the mouse, who is afraid of the dark. The moon becomes her night light and she learns that even though the moon can't stay full for her each night, it always comes back again. Each household will receive a copy of this book to take home with them.

The local author has a passion for telling stories and helping others to tell their own stories and has written many books for children. Brennan-Nelson will be hosted by the R.E.A.D. Team at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fowlerville on Wednesday, October 20 at 6:30 p.m. This FREE event is for younger children and elementary students, helping to realize the R.E.A.D. Team's mission to help grow strong readers by grade three.

Space is limited; reserve a spot by contacting St. John's Lutheran church at 517-223-9108 or at www.stjohnsfowlerville.org. Find us on Facebook, too!
