Free Kid's Book Event at St. John's Lutheran this Wednesday, Sept. 1
The R.E.A.D. (Read Early And Daily) Team at St. John's Lutheran is hosting a free book event on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 6:30 p.m. The offering this night follows up on the subject of our Wildlife Animal Safari, held last week.
Each child will receive a copy of National Geographic's book, "Foxes," and they will think more about the life of a fox as we read the book together. Other fun activity will be worked into the one-hour event, which seeks to encourage reading with kids in their earliest years so that they become strong readers by grade three.
