Upcoming Programs at the Fowlerville District Library
    All programs are intended for Fowlerville School District residents. Register in-person to attend; starting the first of each month, unless otherwise stated. WEEKLY DROP-IN PROGRAMS
Reading to Bosco: No Bosco program this week. He will return after a brief hiatus, date to be announced.

Cardio Drumming: Tuesdays at 7pm
Adults. Get your sweat on with a fun workout from instructor Kim Griffes. Please remember to bring water and wear comfy clothes. Spaces are limited to 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. *There is a cash fee of $6 for this class if you bring your own equipment. Kit rental is additional $2 fee.

D&D and Magic the Gathering Club: Thursdays 2:30-4pm
6th-12th Graders. Drop in at the Library for a fun afterschool group where you can learn more about Dungeon & Dragons role-playing gameand play Magic the Gathering card game on your own. We provide the Dungeon Master (Ms. Zoe), snacks and drinks… you provide the fun!  * No School, No Library D&D  program.

Honest Yoga at the Library: Fridays at 9:30am
Adults. Join Erin Wade RYT, owner of Honest Yoga, for Gentle Yoga at the Library. Gentle Yoga is for adults of all ages through modifications and the use of props. Please bring a mat to practice on. *There is a cash fee of $5 for this class.

SPECIAL EVENTS AND PROGRAMS
A.R.K. Animal Encounters: Wednesday, March 11th5:30-6:30pm
Family. From crawling black millipedes, to prickly cute hedgehogs and so much more, A.R.K. Animal Encounters know their animals and are coming to the Library! Do you like learning about unusual animals? If so, come see this exciting hands-on presentation.

Half-Day-Hang-Out: Friday, March 13th 11:30 -2pm
6th-12th Graders. Join us for some half-day fun at the library! We will be playing video games, board games, watching movies, and crafting! Lunch will be provided. Registration is required.

Family-Fun Day: Saturday, March 14th9:30-12:00pm
Family. Shake off the winter blues with some singing, dancing and laughing at the county-wide Family-Fun Day held at 2|42 Community Church. Children ages 0-5 and their families will enjoy the free hands-on children’s activities, meet popular storybook characters, and watch a stage show featuring The Music Lady.

Garden Club Series: Thursday, March 19th 2:30pm
Adults. Garden Club meets at the Library every third Thursday beginning in March and going through May. This program is led by Master Gardener Nan-Marie Fox. Topics to be announced.

Patriotic Book Wreath: Thursday, March 26th 7-9pm
Adults. Create a patriotic wreath based on the war-time theme in this year’s Livingston Reads Selection All-Girl Filling Station’s Last Reunion. We will be recycling discarded books for this project. All supplies and instruction will be provided.

Turn the Page—Author Talk: Thursday, April 2nd7-9pm
Adults. Get an in-depth look at Michigan's rock legend, Bob Seger from author Edward Balian of Turn the Page. Learn about the music, tours, band, and personal life of Bob Seger. Books will be available for purchase at the program.

Beyond the Book Series—Where’d You Go Bernadette by Maria Semple: Thursday, April 9th 6:30pm
Adults. April’s selection is the recent film adapted novel of the same name starring the talented Cate Blanchett. Bee goes on an adventure in search of her peculiar, and agoraphobic mother who has gone missing. Read the book at home and come enjoy the film adaption at the library and discuss both with us. $10 refundable deposit is required upon registration.
