Judith Irene Watters
Judith Irene Watters, 76, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, December 18, 2017. She was born on December 3, 1941 in Webberville to Roy and Beatrice McGowan. She graduated from Webberville High School in 1960. She married LaVern (Vern) Watters in 1963. Together, they owned Vern’s Service Station for over 25 years. During their retirement, Judy enjoyed camping and spending time at the lake with her grandchildren. She is survived by her two children: Heidi Watters of Howell, MI and Russ (Rikki) Watters of Payne, OH as well as three grandchildren; Cameron of Monroeville, IN, Keelyn and Kennedy Watters of Payne, OH. She is also survived by her siblings: Nancy (Jim) Duncan of Williamston, MI, Roy (Jeannie) McGowan of Mason, MI, Ed (Alice) McGowan of Holt, MI, Chuck (Jan) McGowan of Williamston, MI and sister-in-law Marie McGowan of Webberville, MI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Vern, her parents, and her brother Albert McGowan.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Fowlerville United Brethren Church. Visitation was held on Wednesday, Dec. 20, from 6-8 p.m. at Herrmann Funeral Home.
